This project arose out of a desire to remove ambiguity from social interactions and clarify communication. Each glyph in the set represents the user's intentions for a given statement or gesture. As an example of how this might be executed, I imagined a technology that would read one's intentions and automatically display the corresponding glyph. (Original footage from Sense8 s01e06, animated glyphs by me)
For a project that required me to create multiples of something to give to the class, I asked each of my classmates to send me a photo, then used Processing to generate a three-dimensional shape based on the pixel brightness. I generated sixteen of these and presented each of my classmates with their personalized shape in the form of a zipped file with an .obj, .blend, several renders, and a turnaround.
